Research Interests

Recent research:
Across a diverse set of publications, the researcher pursues how education systems, pedagogy, and mental well-being intersect with modern challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, digital tools, and intercultural contexts. The work combines descriptive surveys, mixed-methods designs, action research, and bibliometric/measurement approaches to understand student perceptions of assessment, evaluation, and learning processes; the role of feedback in learning; pedagogy and teacher training in inclusive settings; and the integration of technology, digital literacy, and multilingual and multicultural dynamics in educational environments. Several studies link phonological awareness and reading development, while others examine mental health, residential life, and community well-being in university settings, including intercultural and migrant contexts. A common thread is the emphasis on meaningful feedback, reflective pedagogy, and systemic, multidisciplinary frameworks to improve educational practice, support student success, and enhance communication of dementia-related concepts in healthcare education. The impact lies in informing higher education practices, educational policy considerations, and interdisciplinary collaboration to address evolving socio-technical realities in learning and well-being.
