Recent research:
This body of work integrates educational technology with pedagogy, focusing on how digital tools can enhance language writing instruction and how AI and advanced analytics intersect with higher education practices. The first study demonstrates that WebQuest-based instruction significantly improves EFL students’ writing production, supporting the adoption of modern, student-centered web-assisted methodologies to boost motivation and outcomes in writing. The second article provides a bibliometric portrait of AI’s rising footprint in higher education, highlighting the surge in machine learning, data mining, and learning analytics, and underscoring the need for multidisciplinary, ethically aware, and qualitatively informed exploration of AI’s educational impact. The remaining publications advance Internet of Things (IoT) and smart-system paradigms for control engineering, presenting wireless networked control systems (WNCS) using MQTT, Node-RED, ESP8266, and AR/VR/3D visualization to enable real-time monitoring, remote operation, and realistic modeling of DC motor control with LQG and PID strategies. Collectively, the research demonstrates a coherent trajectory from classroom-based educational innovation to technologically enabled, data-informed engineering systems, emphasizing practical deployment, human–technology interaction, and the integration of modern interfaces (AR/VR) and protocols (MQTT) to enhance learning, control, and monitoring in networked environments. The impact lies in bridging pedagogical practice with emerging ICT and smart engineering, providing actionable insights for educators and engineers to leverage WebQuest, AI analytics, IoT, and immersive visualization in real-world settings.
