Research Interests

Recent research:
The publications collectively advance qualitative and methodological understanding within clinical psychology, with a strong emphasis on lived experiences across diverse populations including mothers, older adults, and individuals with Alzheimer’s. The works synthesize qualitative inquiry—interviews, focus groups, life narratives—and advocate for person-centered approaches that illuminate emotional, cognitive, and social dimensions of mental health, caregiving dynamics, and aging. A second strand evaluates the psychology publication ecosystem, highlighting trends in journal impact, interdisciplinarity, open access, and global representation to inform research practice and dissemination. Together, these contributions advance both substantive insights into mental health experiences and meta-scientific knowledge about research methods and scholarly communication, with implications for practice, policy, and future methodological innovation in clinical psychology.
