Recent research:
Across the publications, the author advances a cohesive program at the intersection of Education, Pedagogy and Inclusion, with a strong emphasis on mental health, learning strategies, and literacy within higher education and basic education contexts. The work leverages participatory action research to illuminate the lived experiences of students in multicultural university residences, foregrounding psychological well-being as a central driver of academic success and systemic, inclusive education models that respond to diverse family and community expectations. Complementarily, the empirical studies on cognitive strategies and phonological awareness examine how learning processes shape educational outcomes: using quantitative, descriptive and correlational methods, the research identifies limited use of cognitive strategies among Psycho-pedagogy students and a meaningful link between phonological awareness and reading processes. Together, these studies highlight the need for targeted pedagogy, robust measurement, and bibliometric practices to inform practice and policy, while underscoring the role of context—digital societies, cultural diversity, and early literacy—in shaping educational effectiveness and well-being.
