Organization profile

The mission of the MSME Management Research Group (GIGMP) is to contribute to increasing the contributions of medium and small businesses in the province of Azuay to the country's GDP, through research that identifies and proposes solutions to the management difficulties that they face. Its vision focuses on promoting competitiveness and transforming the national productive matrix, promoting new business development schemes and management systems that integrate all agents in the productive chains. The group stands out for its research capacity, the results of which are published in high-impact international journals, and seeks to define an innovative management model that aligns with the local context and the philosophy of "good living", consolidating associativity as a strategy to improve productivity and market positioning.
