Organization profile

The Communication, Development and Policy Research Group (GICODEPO) is dedicated to exploring various aspects of communication through an interdisciplinary approach that integrates varied methodologies. Its mission focuses on investigating communication problems in relation to development and politics, promoting critical dialogue that addresses contemporary social challenges. The group's vision establishes that by 2030 it will consolidate itself as a reference in areas such as communication and citizenship, as well as communicative rights, seeking to generate proposals that encourage critical reflection and social emancipation through debate and discussion. GICODEPO is articulated with both national and international research networks, reaffirming its commitment to plurality and citizen participation in the field of communication studies in Ibero-America.
