The mission of the Environmental Management and Quality Research Group (GIGCA) is to develop projects that deepen environmental knowledge, focusing on pollution prevention and control, as well as on the proper management of natural resources and waste generated by human activities. Its commitment extends to researching the causes and consequences related to environmental management and quality, seeking sustainable solutions that address not only environmental, but also social and economic aspects. In terms of its vision, the group aspires to be recognized nationally and internationally for its research in conservation and sustainability, fostering a team of professionals and students dedicated to finding viable solutions to achieve a healthy and balanced environment. It emphasizes citizen responsibility in caring for the planet, proposing management strategies and the use of clean technologies and circular economy to mitigate environmental impacts.
