Organization profile

The mission of the Communication Research Group of the Salesian Polytechnic University (GI-CUPS) is to promote communication research in its three locations, generating critical, creative and transformative knowledge for society. Its vision focuses on being a link between research and teaching, promoting a scientific culture in the field of communication. Since its constitution in 2014, the group has prioritized lines of research that cover communication, languages ​​and content structuring, development, interculturality and citizenship. Currently, the group is coordinated by professor Jorge Francisco Galán Montesdeoca, who is in the doctoral process at the University of León, Spain.
