Organization profile
The mission of the Communication Research Group of the Salesian Polytechnic University (GI-CUPS) is to promote communication research in its three locations, generating critical, creative and transformative knowledge for society. Its vision focuses on being a link between research and teaching, promoting a scientific culture in the field of communication. Since its constitution in 2014, the group has prioritized lines of research that cover communication, languages and content structuring, development, interculturality and citizenship. Currently, the group is coordinated by professor Jorge Francisco Galán Montesdeoca, who is in the doctoral process at the University of León, Spain.
