The Research Group in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (GlobalGen), contributes to the generation, transmission and application of scientific and technological knowledge in the field of animal health and production, taking into account the priority needs of Ecuadorian society, through innovation and development, strengthening the values that characterize the Salesian Polytechnic University.

Our purpose is to promote research, development and innovation in technologies for a sustainable, ecological and environmentally friendly livestock production. This research includes the recovery of species and the maintenance of animal biodiversity using DNA techniques as well as a work to raise awareness of the necessary respect for animal rights.
