El Grupo de Investigación en Inteligencia Artificial y Reconocimiento Facial (GIIAR) se dedica a organizar, analizar, modelar e implementar proyectos de investigación en el ámbito de la Inteligencia Artificial, con el objetivo de abordar problemas concretos del entorno social y cultural. Su visión es establecerse como un referente en el campo de la investigación en Inteligencia Artificial, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional. Este enfoque resalta su compromiso con la aplicación práctica de la tecnología para generar soluciones significativas y su aspiración a liderar en un área de creciente relevancia científica y tecnológica.
