Perfil de la organización
El Grupo de Investigación en Desarrollo Local (GIDLO) se centra en la necesidad de transformar las estructuras productivas y sociales para lograr un desarrollo inclusivo y sostenible. Su misión se alinea con las propuestas de la Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL), que aboga por un cambio estructural que aborde desigualdades y promueva la dignidad humana. En este contexto, el GIDLO enfatiza la importancia de las universidades como centros generadores de conocimiento, capaces de adaptarse y responder a las demandas sociales. Su visión implica una colaboración activa entre académicos, estudiantes, empresas y la comunidad para fomentar la creación de bienes y el desarrollo humano. Así, el grupo busca contribuir a la construcción de una sociedad más equitativa y sostenible, integrando el conocimiento académico con la realidad social.
