Perfil de la organización
El Grupo de Investigación en Ciencias Ambientales (GRICAM) de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana se dedica a ofrecer soluciones científicas y tecnológicas que promuevan proyectos económicamente viables, socialmente justos y ambientalmente sostenibles. Su misión es ser un referente en la investigación que aporte efectivamente al desarrollo sostenible del Ecuador, estableciendo redes de colaboración a nivel local, nacional e internacional para innovar y transferir conocimientos entre la academia y la sociedad. Compuesto por docentes a tiempo completo de la Carrera de Ingeniería Ambiental, el grupo se enfoca en abordar problemas como la degradación ambiental, los desastres naturales y las energías alternativas, seleccionando investigadores según sus áreas de experticia para generar productos significativos que beneficien tanto a la universidad como a la sociedad ecuatoriana.
