The Educational Innovation, Security and Food Sovereignty Group (GIE-SYSA) has been officially recognized and approved by the Higher Council of the Salesian Polytechnic University, in compliance with the regulations established for the creation and management of educational innovation groups. This group's mission is to promote research and development of educational practices that strengthen food security and sovereignty. Professor Fredi Leonidas Portilla Farfán has been appointed as coordinator, which underscores the institution's commitment to innovation in education and the relevance of food security in the current context. The creation of GIE-SYSA reflects a proactive approach to education and sustainable development, integrating research with educational practice to address contemporary challenges.

  2. Information and communication materials and technologies in training processes
  3. Curricular design and development
  4. Educational actions and/or linkage activities to care for priority populations
