The Research Group on Biotechnology Applied to Natural Resources is committed to the development of research that revalues ​​the natural resources of our country, through research in the fields of Biotechnology, which allow taking advantage of the interactions of living organisms with the environment in which they live. We believe that biotechnological development encompasses various areas: from crop improvement, the discovery of new drugs, the maintenance of the environment, among others.
