The Group of Research in Biotechnology Applied to Natural Resources (BIOARN), is committed to the development of research that revalues the natural resources of our country, through research in the fields of Biotechnology, which allows to take advantage of the interactions of living organisms with the environment in which they live. Biotechnological development covers various fields: from crop improvement, to the discovery of new drugs, to the maintenance of the environment, among others.
